Maybe just posting up here isn't how to get it done. I guess we have to make little flyers and buy people beers. Either way, not one person expressed interest in falling down at Civic Plaza today so we'll postpone the summer action to another time. Stay tuned (if anyone is even out there looking in).

Bike Week was rad/weird. 

Small court, rusty skills, slow action and applause at game's end.

Until we can secure a new spot (that's a bit more conducive 

to spectating and BBQ-ing) we continue to play at:

(Civic Plaza is on Front Street across from George's and Winco)

We always have extra mallets and encourage newcomers to play.

HELLO/GOODBYE

I pedaled by our old polo grounds tonight. North Jr High is getting the extreme makeover. We won't be playing there anytime soon, if ever again. Pour some on the curb for a dead homey. But, as all good things must end, even better things can rise and replace. On the horizon (Thursday May 14th)we have a chance to play on the Basque Block. No cars, just bikes, beer and live music. Boise Bike Week has the entire block reserved for a night of festivities and I was asked to organize some pick-up polo. So, we need to get snappy and start playing some matches before then. Please post comments here as to when/where (civic plaza is good still)and let's get after it. This event will be a chance to acquire some new players and revive the action. You know you wanna.

New Fall Hours????

The Frost on my lawn this morning and the diminishing daylight might be an indicator that fall is here.  We need to set a new time Sunday.  When would be a goodtime for everyone?  Please leave us comments and we will try to schedule a time that works with the majority.  Also our one year anniversary of playing bike polo is this month.  Maybe we can have a vintage game on the grass at Camels Back with mimosa's in celebration.  

Monday Night Fights

We may have some guests from out of town throwin' down.

Return to the Northside

The surface at Civic P doesn't drain too well so we will be at 

North Jr. today at 5PM.

We can use this as a little tune-up for tomorrow's matches with the Bike Porn crew.

More info on that will be posted here later but it's tentatively scheduled for 5-8 at Civic Plaza: PDX vs. BOI. Bike Porn at the Red Room afterwards. Hell jeah.

Thursday Polo.

Well word on the street is that we'll be playing some polo on Thursday 7/31 (tomorrow). Yeah, it's true. We'll be at Civic Plaza at 6p.m. playing some games and bidding Megan farewell. This will be her last bit at Boise Bike Polo before moving on to Portland and some 503 polo action. I'm sure she'll show 'em how it's done. Go get 'em tiger.
So come on out and, once again, tell your friends. We're looking for new players so if you know someone who likes to ride their bike and who may enjoy some friendly competition bring them out.

Le Polo Action

Super good turnout Sunday. We have come to the conclusion that the Civic Plaza is the spot. We will be playing here on Sundays at 6pm. We play pickup style so we are always looking for more recruits so don't be shy. Come down and play. We have extra mallets too.
